Good morning! It was a great day one of our first ROG Virtual Rally. We were able to visit and connect and also get some new information.

The email invitation for Zoom was sent earlier this morning. If you registered for the rally, and have not received your invitation... let us know as soon as you can. You don't want to miss tonight.

Lippert is doing a maintenance section using a Redwood to demonstrate. John Lurker is going to talk us through his process of changing out his flooring. Tim Cress from Redwood will be sharing updates and current information about Redwood and answering questions we have already submitted to him.

If you would like to get more comfortable with "Zoom" before the Virtual Rally... we will have an opportunity for you to take a "test drive". Thursday, July 9 at 7pm (Eastern time). If you have registered, you will get an invite to this. Let me know if you have any questions. This is new to all of us--I will be glad for Thursday's learning session.

2020 ROG Rally Garden Flag purchases are cancelled

Because of the rally cancellation, the purchase of the flags will also be cancelled. If you purchased a flag, you will receive a full refund for your flag purchase. We are not able to have the flags delivered individually.

2020 Redwood Owners Group Rally is Cancelled

It is with a great sadness that we make the announcement that the Redwood Owners Group Rally scheduled for July 11-18, 2020, in Shipshewana, Indiana is cancelled. Those of you who registered for this rally will receive a full refund in the coming weeks. A full refund for your 2020 ROG rally registration will be credited back to your account.

ROG will be cancelling all campsite reservations with the Shipshewana Campground. If you have other appointments or still plan to stay at the Shipshewana Campground South Park, you will need to contact the campground and make a new reservation. Please do not call the campground unless you need to make a new reservation.

If you have appointments for work to be done at area vendors, you should call and confirm that appointment. ROG will remain out of that process.

Experts tell us the United States and Canada have not yet seen the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak. It is unclear what the future holds as we brace for the path of this virus.

We can only guess when it will be appropriate for large groups to gather. It is important to us, as a ROG Board of Directors, that we do what we can to keep rally attendees safe.

I am with you in your disappointment of the rally cancellation. We all look forward to making new ROG friends and reconnect with existing friends.

This means those minor repairs that we have counted on getting taken care of, will not be happening at the rally in Indiana this year. We will all miss seeing those great Redwood and Lippert techs.

We hope and pray that the extreme measures being taken will have the desired effect of slowing this virus—so we can all return to the Redwood travels we love.

COVID-19 Update

ROG: I felt it was necessary to communicate with our group concerning the COVID-19 virus. Some of the board have had discussions regarding the Rally. At this time, the Rally is ON with no slowing in preparations. We will continue to monitor the national situation and take into account the best information we can get. We are anticipating a review around the first of May to see how it looks and adjust plans accordingly if necessary. But we are far enough out that we don’t have to make a decision right now. Stay safe!

Several people suggested it would be fun to have music at the rally. I have no musical talent. Is there anyone that would like to be involved/lead something like this? Maybe a Jam session or talent show or....

Possible Rally Software or App

I have been looking for a possible App that might work for rally announcements and have a possible place for the schedule, etc. I have not found one that allowed for more than 20 people without being very costly. Anyone familiar with any possibilities?

I am so excited!! We have 64 Redwood's signed up for the rally right now. If you haven't been able to sign up or are having challenges logging in. Do not fear... there is room for you. Can't wait to see everyone.
