This is a brand new RV resort, still under development as of June 2020, on the south side of Fayetteville, Arkansas next to I-49. Northwest Arkansas is seriously devoid of any nice RV Parks, and Hog Valley is on the leading edge. This beautiful part of the state with a population of over 500,000 (and home of the Arkansas Razorbacks) is well worth the visit for the natural beauty, the amazing Crystal Bridges museum in Rogers and Walmart museum in downtown Bentonville, among hundreds of other things - and finally there is a nice RV park with concrete pads that is big rig friendly with convenient access. So glad to see this park come in.

Although this is a Coast to Coast resort, it is a private park—so no membership is necessary. Campground was very easy to find using GPS. If you are looking for someplace to stay with friends or family—this is a great option. They have a beautiful lodge, cabins, Yurts and multiple campsite styles. Every interaction we had with staff was positive. Each one seemed genuinely interested in us having the best visit possible. There is a restaurant and a cafe onsite.

This resort has a variety of different campsites available. There are standard sites that are smaller and in the trees. They have Deluxe sites that are paved and back in. They also offer Elite campsites that are pull through. The Deluxe and the Elite sites are paved sites, they have gas grills provided (the resort provides the propane & the grilling tools!) Each of these sites has a picnic table with chairs. We stayed in an Elite site, which was great. This resort offers true luxury glamping. The resort has very nice landscaping throughout.

Campground easily handles big rigs. There was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. Good condition, asphalt roads through the campground. Sites are very level. There are 2 very nice pool and hot tub areas. There is one indoor pool & hot tub, as well as, a couple outdoor pools. They have multiple laundry rooms—and they are free!

Resort is very quiet. The only road noise is the traffic coming to the resort. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. The resort Wi-Fi was very strong.

We look forward to coming back. 9,8

My wife and I have been bringing our kids (and their friends) to Sherkston for many years. When we purchased our Redwood last year this was top of our list for a regular spot. It has everything you will need for you stay, whether it's a long or short one.

It has a pool area for adults and kids, with hot tubs and shower facilities. there is also an outdoor bar.

there is a terrific main play area as well as play parks throughout the facility.

It has it's own store which will have all of your grocery needs. there is also a Boston Pizza on site for those days when you don't want to cook.

Fort Erie is only about 15 minutes from the site so you are close to the Border. Port Colborne is also close so there are places to go if you want to go offsite.

The beach area (on lake erie) is superb and is cleaned every night during the summer. There is also a man-made lake and they have beachview sites for RV'S.

you won't be disappointed if you are going to Ontario, Canada and looking for a great place to vacation.

Just google sherkston shores and i'm sure you'll find them. They are now part of Sunrvresorts and also have places in the US.

My wife and I have actually booked to go to their site in Myrtle Beach for Feb-Mar.

we will back at Sherkston on May 1, site #33 for anyone that wants to say hello.

When traveling out west, we frequently need a stopover in the Ogden/Salt Lake City area. By accident we found the Aspen Grove RV Park in Tremonton. The park was new in 2019 and has beautiful wide, paved spots with wide streets. Brand new facilities and clearly built for big-rigs. Price was the same as all other campgrounds we could find, but the facilities were immaculate. Very convenient access to I-15 and I-84. Will definitely stay there again.

IMG_0909.jpg

IMG_0908.jpg

We have been to Disney many times and have started a LIST of Redwood friendly sites. We usually take the golf cart and go " looping" and jot down sites that in my eyes would be decent Redwood sites... Here is the list I have made... DISCLAIMER: There may be others that I missed.. IF your aware of any others, let's add them.. Some of the sites in there are very tight for the Redwoods..

400 loop -408

500 loop - 523 , 456

600 loop - 610, 612, 633, 634

700 loop - 701, 702, 704, 706, 707, 708, 709, ** DO NOT TAKE 705.. VERY, VERY HARD BACK IN

800 loop -802, 805, 812, 852, 856,

1400 loop - 1407, 1429

*** ALSO *** If you happen to go and get a site not listed and realize that it's way too small when you pull up, DO NOT TAKE IT... pull off to the side, or return to the front, walk in and tell them. They will move you to a site that will fit you... Last year I asked for 1 of my 3 favorites, when we got there, we were in that loop ( 700 ) but a different site.. Once i got there I realized it was the # 705 that is near impossible to get a big fifth wheel into. I backed into a free site and called the front desk and told them I would not fit.. I gave them a few sites that were close and NOT occupied yet. I ended up on my first choice....

Joe
