Does anyone have detailed schematics of the plumbing tanks (black) especially on this model. Floorplans do not show detailed routing of the plumbing tanks/pipes configuration. I have a plugged toilet in the upper, main bathroom. This bathroom is raised above the basement area and I am thinking that it has a sub, small tank with pipe leading to the main black tank lower and opposite the toilet black tank on the main floor level. My line of thinking is because I but a steel coat hanger down the toilet and it went into a secondary hole which I feel is the pipe leading to the main black tank. I have ruled out "poop pyramid, plugged roof vent, seal dislodged and stuck in bottom of tank, etc

Can anyone verify? I find it very frustrating that you cannot get a detailed layout with blueprint drawings for plumbing, electrical, etc.

My apologies if this has been answered as I thought I had posted here or on the FB ROG page but could not find anything related to this. We have a 2021 4001lk unit with the onboard EMS installed. My question is do you really require an additional inline surge protection system? From what I've read and my intermediate electrical knowledge it seems to me that the EMS should handle everything plus what a surge protector would do unless I am missing something. What started all of this was we were in a park that was supposedly 50 Amp service but my EMS only reported 30 Amps. Found out that only 120 VAC across the "HOT" legs instead of 240 VAC, 180 degrees out of phase for a true 50 amp circuit with a double pole breaker - another topic. So, not sure if a surge protector is needed or just added protection.

In the RV Plant where I work our electrical supplier ran out of the Molex or AMP connectors used to join 110V wiring. Sometimes also called Anderson connectors. While these may not be in the next Redwoods built, they may end up in one in the future. So if and when the time comes to repair your 110V wiring you need to be able to have the correct type to replace it with as these are similar but not compatible with each other.

Hi, new member here, happy to be part of the group!

I am getting line of sight ground internet hooked up next week (a dish connects to a tower instead of a satellite for the signal) and I'll need to run cable from the dish mounted on a pole outside to inside the coach (2018 34RL) and wondering if anyone has done something similar, and if so, what is the best route to run a cable neatly inside? I've heard of folks temporarily going through the slide weatherstripping, but was hoping of a more permanent solution like routing up a (hopefully) accessible existing cable harness to the inside?

Also, I have the built in inverter and was wondering if it only powers the outlet for the residential fridge, as I've heard it was designed to only really power the fridge and not much else? Wondering as I was planning on powering the internet router off the inverter as well (only draws 4 watts, but AC).

Thanks in advance for any help!

For the past two weeks, I’ve been having trouble with some of the 12 v system when disconnected from shore power. No lites, water pump, fans or power cord reel. Connecting truck cord doesn’t help. Initially when I disconnect, the 12v power will cycle on & off for a few minutes and then off. I get power to the slides, jacks and residential fridge thank goodness! If I start the generator I get all 12v power back. The biggest issue is the cord reel as I have to reel it in by hand or start the generator. Battery voltage is 13.3 but drops to 12 after a travel day.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to get some info on the grey tanks. My trailer is a 2019 3401RL. I have two grey tanks. I looks like the water from the kitchen sink and shower goes to tank #2. What water goes to tank #1 ?. Or is tank #1 used when tank #2 gets filled up ? Can someone please explain how the tanks work. I have been putting a cleaning solution into the grey and black tanks. But it doesn't seem like a cleaning solution is going into tank #1.

Thank you for any info,

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for suggestions where to mount some remote displays. I have a hard wired surge protection in the trailer. I have a remote display for the surge protection I would like to install in the trailer and I also have a remote display for the inverter that needs to be mounted. I am not sure where to mount these remote displays. Looking for ideas where to mount the displays. Both displays do not needed to be mounted in the same place. Does anyone have pictures of there remote displays ? I also understand I might need to remove some of the ceiling in the storage area to help run any wires. The inverter in the trailer is all most impossible to see if the inverter is on or not. That is one main reason for the remote display for it.

Looking for lots of ideas or locations,
