Hello everyone. We are looking to purchase a 2015 Redwood Sequoia but are unable to find specs in regards to any type of weather package (like most RV's state). Could you please help and answer? Did it come as a standard item in the unit or should we walk away? I don't know that we will be much of snow birds but we do live in south Texas where the heat is unbearable at times.
Thank you for any input.

The RW line was advertised as "Residential RVs" which I'm not sure what that may mean as far as "weather packages", but we lived fulltime for just over 6 years in ours & survived extremes in hot & cold temperatures.
Granted once the temps are 110 or above 2 acs will struggle to keep it bearable (maybe not as cool as you'd like) unless you park in the shade & once down into the teens you'll go through a lot of propane without some added heaters.
They are fully enclosed underbelly with a bit of insulation & heat ducts which by running the furnace in winter will keep tanks & plumbing from freezing unless it gets extremely cold. As for summer if it doesn't have 2 acs add one or look for another rv with at least 2. p
Personally any rv over 28-30' should/would have 2 acs if I'm buying it.

We were down to 12° a couple of times this year, and a few days in a row where it never got above freezing. My water is underground to the edge of the trailer, then heat traced and insulated where exposed. Never froze. Ran the furnace set between 68 and 71°. 2012 36RL
