So we are full timing and have questions on grey tanks. We are getting a odor in one of the sinks in bathroom and kitchen sink . We usually leave the grey valves open for the washer and many showers I take. Do you think the odor is from the open valves or maybe other problems. I know on a stick house you have vents that go thei the roof for the odor to go out.

Not sure how your unit is set up, but on our 2013 36RL there are vents "cheaters" that allow air to enter the drain lines to assist the flow into the tanks. They are designed to close so that tank odours don't come back out into the room, but ours failed a couple of times and I finally duct taped one closed, that stopped the odour.
We have 2 of these, one under the bathroom sink and one on the slide beside the washer behind the wall. I feel these aren't required as the tanks are vented to the roof and the drains mentioned are relatively close to tanks.

You may want to find these and replace them as a first try, they are screwed to the drain Ines and are available at most hardware stores/Home depot.

They are called air admittance valves. When they fail, they can let some awful smells in. Gray tanks can get as rank as a black tank. They're only a few bucks for a cheap model, but you can get better ones for a little more money.
