Prior to the recall I had installed receptacle covers purchased at Home Depot and the same as I have on our home exterior outlets. I was concerned about shifting lawn chairs and other stuff in that area and, in addition, had read another RW owner's solution posted on this site at that time using the covers from HD. I use the cover guard from Redwood for holding our TV remote located in the "tool box" storage area adjacent to the entrance door. I installed a 25" TV in that space along with a duplex 120 VAC outlet and cable connection box plate. Ya, I originally did that, based on advice from the Dealer when we did the PDI. They must have had some issues before. I took them back off when I got the recall cover, as it was a little cleaner and compact.

Was at the coach yesterday and took some pictures. I use a 20" x90" MorRyde Slide Tray, a bunch of plastic tubs and a section of 18" Storage Shelves on the back wall. So far it's the best setup I've come up with. I've attached a few pictures. I like this! Nice!

I use rubber maid containers. They stack tightly and several sizes are available with the same foot print. My Traeger pellet smoker/grill with its folding legs fits perfectly.

I went with some Plano Sportsman Storage trunks. They fit perfectly in the MORryde sliding storage tray and stack nicely. Sorry no pic right now, my RW is in AZ and I'm not.

We were rushed when we loaded our RW from our Montana, so since then I've unpacked and repacked what seems like a hundred times. But i found a couple of plastic drawer sets and milk crates seem to work well for organizing. On the curb side I have pretty easy access to the milk crates and drawers. On the street side I have three milk crates with my sewer components and gloves, vacuum, and blower. I also carry an air compressor and pressure washer. Recliners store on top of the white plastic drawers.

Load more stuff, if there's room for it to move you don't have enough in there.

I did 2 things. I put down carpet (black 3 ft wide stuff that's used in hallways, got it at Home Depot), I used carpet tape to glue it to the floor. I also used large hooks, screwed them to the front shelves, to hold the water hoses and extension cords.

Looking for ideas on cargo storage. It's a big space, and stuff seems to shift around in transit. Thanks for your help. |
