Hi -

I'm looking for more details on the amount of water used in each of the many cycles available in my Fisher Paykel dishwasher.

Anyone have a reference on what the water usage is in each cycle mode?

TIA

Are you using the "ECO" option. A couple of times when it was on we also don't get effective drying. A normal cycle with heat dry takes a little over 2 hours on our dishwasher, but the dishes are clean and dry on completion.

Ours is set on "normal" with eco off & the cycle is 53 minutes with dishes clean & dry. The nice is it does such a good job you don't ave to wash the dishes first, our last s&b you had to wash dishes before putting in the POS dishwasher, what a waste of time & water.
Our friend remodeled their kitchen & stacked 2 of this very dishwasher, 1 for just him/her & second when family is over, works great.

Correction; it's set on "fast" with eco off = 53 minutes.

It seems to me the more I look into this the ECO setting only affects the cycle time and temperature not the water usage.

Since my limiting factor when boon docking is almost always water I think I can still run normal cycle and not worry I'm using more water. The ECO setting only changes the amount of a wash runtime, temperature and really only saves power not water.

Still doing more investigation but that's what I have for the moment.

Thanks for everyones feedback.

Ken and others that are interested. I wrote an email to Fisher Paykel about water usage in our DD24SCB7 dishwasher. They responded by sending me the attached chart. Hope someone finds it beneficial.
