We have a 2017 Redwood 38gk and need to know if the residential fridge is bolted down or suppose to be bolted down so it doesn’t move while driving, if so can anyone tell me where it’s bolted down? The bottom trim on the slide is coming off because of the fridge moving and I now have a dent below the ice maker from it hitting the island. I appreciate any help that I can get.
On ours, if you pull the bottom panel that gives you access to the cooling coils, we have and "L" bracket on each front corner that's attached to the Fridge and Screwed into the slide floor. Ours hasn't moved in 30K miles, which included roads in the Canadian Maritime and Manatoba, plus some of the Great US roads.
Thanks for the information, I will have a look. do you know if there are brackets holding the top of fridge so it doesn’t tilt forward?
No brackets on top that I'm aware of, but I don't think we have much clearance on top that it could tip very far.
We do put a section of split large (approx 5") pool noodle on the edge of the counter to further make sure the door stays closed.
there is also a bracket that prevents the fridge from tipping out. Its not attached to the fridge but sits right above it so if it starts to tip out the top of the fridge hits the bracket.
