I know I have read post In reference to replacing the water line to the refrigerator. Could someone tell me where to find the post. I have repaired my line once under the slide and now have another crack in the 1/4 inch poly line on exterior of slide. Still under warranty until April 2017. Problem is that I don't have the time before I leave for Florida to get it to a dealer to get replaced. Guess I will have to bite the bullet and do it myself and eat the cost.

Thanks,
Bruce

Karl,

Noted your comment regarding the forums not being linked and I am happy to provide the short form answer.

The original forum was owned by Redwood RV. Shortly after the 2013 rally it was transferred to a private, for profit company and is now the other forum. A number of owners were not happy and got together to start a new forum. A new forum was developed, but didn't go live, as Tony offered to develop and operate a competing forum, at no cost to members.

At the 2014 rally, the attendees met and agreed we needed an owner's club. A brainstorming session developed numerous deliverables, with an important requirement being the owners/members own the copyright and content.

Tony graciously transferred his forum to the ROG, at no cost, which was updated to the current version and incorporated into the new website. We were unable to negotiate a similar deal with the other forum.

The other forum has been in existence since 2011 or 2012, whereas the ROG only started signing up members in Feb/Mar 2016. The ROG is also more than a discussion forum, as we present the annual rally, operate a website, develop/publish a technical library and maintain excellent communications with Redwood RV, which have assisted many owners getting issues resolved.

I also note that it was the ROG that negotiated getting complimentary technician service at the rallies and the transferable warranty, which was an industry first.

The ROG is managed and operated by your fellow Redwood owners, who all volunteer their time. We are also a non-profit organisation, which requires almost all revenue to be derived from member activities.

Andy,

Nicely said. I would also add that historically any posts on the other forum that mention the Owners Group or this website have been censored and deleted.

We don't believe in that. This is the voice for all owners and only moderate SPAM or other inappropriate content that doesn't belong on the site even if it discusses the other forum. I believe this stems from our understanding and mission statement that all knowledge can benefit our members.

I don't login much during winter months so I just noticed this posting IRT the water line. On my 2015 Cypress the water line was being compressed and cracked almost every time I closed the slide. Turns out the water line and gas line were cable tied together and were not laying flat. This created the situation where the bundle (water line & gas line) was fatter than the gap between trailer frame and slide. Consequently, the water line was repeatedly crushed. The remedy was to tape the line to the slide so it lays flat. Hope this helps. I know it was driving me crazy for a while.

My 2016 31sl is doing the same thing. Guess I'll have to cut line and then repair it. You think they would know better then to put it where it gets crushed by slide.
