After posting here a little over a month ago, I have continued to have problems with my fridge and in an effort to find answers, I discovered there is a class action suit against Samsung for defective ice makers which cause water to leak into the fridge. Water is found in the left crisper drawer as well as under it.
According to the comments I've read, Samsung is not offering much in the way of help to its customers and will continue to fight the lawsuit (as expected). That leaves us customers with few options, all of which are expensive.

Best option is, never buy Samsung. Read their facebook page - they are junk when it comes to appliances, and they just don't care. I bought my last Samsung when the wash machine rusted out after 5 years. I was going to replace the casing with parts ordered from Sears, but before the parts arrived the Dryer quit, so I'm paying $15 for someone to haul the junk away and hook up my new Speed Queens.
