Guess the light Don like golf.
Do you have the antenna booster turned on for the roof antenna. Maybe the signal was fine but the light is causing interference with it off

Go to the settings menu on your tv & find the signal meter, while some one watches the signal slowly rotate the antenna one way or the other til signal peaks. As Shane said be sure booster is on & you've scanned the channels, you have to scan every time you move whether watching cable or antenna.
This something that should be added to all PDI list, booster location & when to use or not, scanning tv channels every time you move, as this is ask on EVERY make, brand, model rv forum.

We experience the same thing when our bathroom fan is running or our device recharging port is on. It also can happen when Jets from Luke Air Force Base go over on the approach to the base. But, it only happens on stations that are weak due to distance or blockage. We have to be sure to have both things off when we scan for stations in remote areas. We can sometimes fine tune the direction on these weak stations and avoid the outage.

Sorry, I can't tell you exactly why it happens in those situations but, that is how we work around it.

Wow that's cool. Is it reproducible?

Yes. When the jets get near overhead we can count on a loss of signal for a few seconds. And when we turn on the tv and dont get a station we routinely get we check the fan and the charging station. Turn them off and the signal returns. Has happened often in certain areas.

Some type of frequency interference. I've seen it on 60hz AC interfering with over the air transmissions, but not sure about the 12V DC low voltage interference.

Still cool scenario in my books 🙂

booster is on and getting a fair signal but when she turns on a bedroom light switch(led) the signal goes away to zero bars. Don't have a clue what is causing it but it is annoying.

Might check the 12VDC at the booster/amp. Could be going low when light is turned on.

On my RL it is in the cabinet to left of the bedroom tv. It may also be behind the bedroom tv (Redwood was doing some really dumb stuff for a couple years and I seem to remember the GK was one that had it there. You have to remove the tv from its mount to get to it)
