The wedgewood oven in our Redwood is terrible. Has anybody upgraded to a better unit? Looking for some informed advice on the subject. We are full timers and would spend the money on a quality range.
Thanks for any help!

Can't help, we haven't had a Gas oven in either RW, we use the Convection Oven for everything, and it doesn't heat up the inside of the RW.

Bob,
Not sure what your problem is with the oven..DW loves to bake. The rv ovens we have owned had uneven heat burning the bottom and leaving the tops unfinished. She solved the problem by getting a baking stone for the lower shelf. She had a local shop cut it so there is room on all 4 sides. Now it bakes flawlessly.

Thanks Ken. I got the advice about the stone and ordered one. Also some stoneware bake ware. Hoping that fixes the problem.

We have been using a pizza stone in our rv ovens for years. Really helps regulate the heat and ensure more even baking results. You might need to preheat for a few extra minutes to get the stone to temperature. It works for us.

We also don't have an oven in our RW. We have the induction stove and convection oven. At first I wasn't sure if I would like this setup because our other rv had an oven and gas stove, but after using it awhile I really like it.
