Finally, Lippert agreed to replace my Trail Air with new Flex Air. I really had no issues with the Trail Air but because of all the issues they agreed to replace the lower jaw with the newer Flex Air jaw. I was doing a seminar at the KZ National Rally and when I returned they had replaced the whole pin box.
Appointment Tuesday at the service center to get some work done that dealers just can't do to accommodate a full timer.

When my Trail Air fell apart, I asked Lippert for a Flex Air replacement, they sent me another Trail Air. 🙁
Did not want another breakdown on the road so now have a MorRyde Pin Box 🙂

Good for you Ron! It's so refreshing in this day and age to find a company that goes the extra mile to take care of the customer. Happy trails with that new pin box!

Bob

There is a lot of us who might still have a Lippert product if they had offered us the Flex Air Lower Jaw.
I know for a fact that there were several of us that made that request to Lippert and were turned down flat, saying it wouldn't fit.

It's in Topeka Indiana, they only do warranty work. I assume it's still there since we are now Keystone's step kids.

Based on information provided at the rally, we now have access to 3 service centres - RW/CR, Keystone Indiana & West Coast.

However, they only do warranty work and it must be scheduled through a dealer. Owners can't schedule warranty work directly with the service centre.

I was dealing with Lippert directly. Not thru Redwood.

All I can say is it’s about time! Lippert is way overdue owning up to this issue. It’s been on-going for years, and they burned a lot of people (and lost a lot of customers to MorRyde) by continually refusing to replace defective Tri-Glide heads with the equivalent replacement.
