I had the same thing happened last year, what I did was hook up to my truck spray the Rams with WD-40 and move them up and down five or six times... the leak was gone, as gip said you coild have gotten some particles (trash) on the pistons..
Hey Joe, don't use regular WD40 it will turn regular o rings very soft, not recommended on any rubber items. WD40 does make a silicone spray sold at Walmart that's safe to use. It's recommended to wipe & spray jacks with a silicone spray each use or weekly if parked.

Thanks Danny, thats the one I use... I believe its a yellow can? But whatever color can, it was recommended by Lippert to use, and NOT the usual WD40..
Thanks to all. Today I reached Fargo and with fingers crossed I lowered my front jacks and unhitched. No noise and all went well. I then pushed auto level and all went well. I sprayed all may jacks with CRC and opened my slides to great success. I will be here for two days and before I auto retract I will clean the pistons and spray again. I hope my problem is over and many thanks to all. It must have been some dirt or something. I have not noticed any more fluid on my jack pad either.

great idea. I will do that. Thanks
Dave
Glad to hear your issue is hopefully resolved
On mine the factory techs removed 1qt of the original fluid & then added/mixed the fork oil to the reservoir & since I've topped it off with the same fork oil a couple times, no problems, so with that I assume mixing the 2 oils is perfectly safe.
In all practicality even if you attempted to remove the original fluid before adding new there's still going to be approximately 1qt of fluid in the system that at some point is going to mix with the new. Unless you're considering removing all lines to drain the system, to me that's a whole LOT of unnecessary work on the off chance of them not mixing. Apparently the factory didn't think there was a problem mixing them.

What about CRC Silicon spray?
I've used this for the last 5 years bought at Walmart,
but now the carry the WD40 brand, same formula/ingredients & hasn't hurt anything yet.

I have that in my garage, this is what I keep in the Redwood for the jacks -
What "fork oil" are you referring to? I read this string a couple of times and don't see what fork oil you are talking about. Like motorcycle fork oil?
Motorcycle fork oil is what you use
I used a combination of 5 and 10 weight in my race bikes but they come from the factory with 20 weight. So would 20 W be the thing to use in the hydraulics?
