Guy, We've got between 50-60k on our RW & so far the TriGlide is still holding up, but with all the stories of failure I too am a bit worried.

John,
I sent you an email. Thanks for the offer of pictures.

John, Danny,
You both have put a lot of miles towing with the Tri-Glide pin box. Many of the folks reporting failures have indicated that they were getting a lot of "banging" on starts and stops. I have never had the issue of banging unless I have to do a sudden stop. I try not to do jack rabbit starts or stops. Also, since I added the Mor/Ryde SRE-4000 to the suspension two years ago, the coach tows a lot better even over those bad bridge approaches.
Continued safe travels.

The Moryde is not immune either. Several on the Montana's in our old forum failed when the rubber sheer separated from the steel it was bonded to, and some even tore. Check them occasionally.
hello Joe , Gary B question i have 2017 39Mb other than the pin box , i guess i have had know issue brakes stop on a dime , with help of tow mode and engine brake on my 2016 ford dully , can i ask what this Is system cost to add because am afraid of the added expense to a already negative piece of equipment that go down in price not up and every body seems to jump on this band wagon
the 8k IS system will run around $3500.00.. i went from the stock equaflex, to the MORryde SRE 4000, to the IS.. and there is a noticeable difference
Like Michelle, my pin is about the same as yours, around 3650-3700. I run 4 cells, with an auxiliary spring in the outer two for a little more stiffness. Sometimes I will add the fifth depending on road conditions. That's the great part, swing off the road, put the jacks down till the hitch lifts clear and snap in or out a cushion and see what it does. I have Airlift bags in my F350 dually and will run between 45-65 psi when loaded depending on road conditions. Have onboard compressor and wireless remote. What Rick has found is that with the IS, for some reason it seems to transfer more weight onto the pin while driving than an axle setup does. Not sure why, but the hitch needs to be set up stiffer. I also moved my swing arm to the uppermost holes so that when loaded it was a straight up and down compression.
Like Michelle, I don't think I could get a better ride than what I have now. Unless it is a "killer" bridge joint, the most we get is a little bit of a head bob. If you have a lot of stuff moving in the coach, you may need to swing by MorRyde and have them change to the next softer springs than what you have in. We actually changed springs twice to get where we are. Unfortunately this isn't an exact science but after you hit the sweet spot the results are amazing .
Where did you find the auxiliary springs?
Give Rick a call and he can ship you a couple. Only needed if you're really heavy on pin weight.
