I'm getting higher wear on the outside of my G614 tires since I had the IS installed. Has anyone else had this experience? Spoke to a friend who had the IS installed on his Bighorn and he is experiencing the same thing. The door side front axle seems to be the worst on both mine and my buddy's, but higher wear on all tires is visible. Any ideas?

Thanks, I have already spoke to Rob Kolean. I have an appointment in November with a local Truck Frame and Spring shop who is going to check it for Morryde. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

We're running the G114 17.5 Tires and have 35K on them and all wearing even and still look almost new.

I had unusual tire wear with my G614's on my last fiver that had IS.. Good Year told me that was normal wear after looking at pictures.. They called it "Shoulder Step"

I think it's the nature of the beast on the 614s as mine wore the edges as well, the center tread wore evenly.

I had one tire on my G614's wear on the outside edge but started after a trip to Maine through some horrible roads. Went to a truck and trailer shop that had a Hunter Laser alignment system like MorRyde uses and found the toe-in was out significantly on that wheel and was out a little on the other right side wheel. Also, as others have said, the G614 seems to wear on the shoulders. My H rated Sailun have almost 12 k on them so far and no appreciable wear.

Interesting, as I am having the same issue with inside wear on my G614's as well with almost 8000-miles on them. I have an appointment at Mor-Ryde next week for the IS upgrade, so I will ask them to check it before the install.

with stock axels my 614 show more wear on the outer edge of each tire , I think its because the skid steer when you pull it around 90* corners. Also that why all heavy trailer tires are solid rubber on the outside shoulder . My tires have about 12,0000 miles , not enough wear that I would consider doing anything about . This past summer I did the Sailun 17.5 tires , those don't show any wear after 1500 mile.
