Well , I dropped our RW off in Leola PA this morning to have the following work done :

shackles replaced with the Mor/Ryde HD kit

The trail air equalizer replaced with the SRE 4000

And last but not least , the Titan disc brake kit installed...

I cannot wait to pick it up and take it for a ride to test it all out!! The work is being done at a shop I found a years back and they do great work so I introduced them to Ron and the folks at Titan... While dropping it off , he told me that there was another RW being dropped off tomorrow for a disc brake install !!!
And finally , a big Thanks to Ron and his team for walking the installer through the work and making this all happen !!

Just got home with the trailer and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!

The 1 month old plastic spacers on the suspension were actually in good shape as were the shackles... Upgrading to the sre4000 made a huge ride difference , when I back in the driveway and went inside , the covers were still on the sink

The brakes were also in decent shape , there was 2 small areas on 2 wheels that had a small bit of grease on the edge of the pads , so I am glad it was caught ..

Took temps with my infra gun on the ride home and all 4 wheels/rotors were within 5-6 degrees of each other.. I tweeted the settings and am now at 6.5 on the IBC..

2 shout outs are well deserved...#1 and most important is to Ron..from the first time we talked on the phone till today.. He was emailing and messaging me today getting updates shows me how devoted and passionate he is , and that refreshing.. He also had Mike Daly from Titan fly into PA and supervise the entire job , including the job they set up for tomorrow...
The second is to Carl at The Trailer Shoppe , he got it all done in 1 day , after the complete brake install , he only charged me 1-1/2 hrs to swap all the shackles , wet bolts , and the equaflex to the mor/Ryde sre4000...

Sorry for the long post , but it's worth it...

I am glad the brakes worked out for you. While I have never had a situation where I could not make them work properly, you just never know.

Great to hear. I am installing the equalizer and shackle kit next week. Next year will be the brakes. I will send an update and pictures of the old parts look like with 5,000 miles on them.
