Memory tells me there is a thread on here about keeping your tires off concrete while parked but I was not able to find it through search.

I have seen suggestions for using rubber pads which were originally designed for horse stalls which can be sourced from Tractor Supply and similar stores. I found another source which proved to be very inexpensive. Our regional home improvement big box store, Menard's, has recycled Rubber Paver tiles. These were on sale for < $3 each so I picked two, cut them in half and had four pads to place under our RW tires.

Those would probably be good beneath the leveling jack feet on concrete or asphalt to reduce the popping noise caused by large temperature swings (like when camping in the desert). I use wood blocks but would n't mind getting some of those. Thx for the tip.

Sounds like they are cheaper than wood as well.

Thanks for your suggestion as well; that had not crossed my mind.

I bought an entire horse mat at my local farm store. They are a much better quality mat than is sold by Tractor Supply, but cost just a bit more. I cut them into squares and use them to level the Redwood and put under the jacks. They compress only slightly, and the surface finish on them lets them grip tightly when you use them I cut them to a size where they can stand on edge in a milk crate for travel.in pairs. I've had to pile three under the wheels on one side to level the Redwood, and had no trouble with slippage.

Those pads are exactly what I have been using for the past year. I bought 4 of them at Lowes.
