Have to replace my tires and I'm hoping to do it without having to resort to bank robbery. I have Goodyear G rated tires now but a cost of $340 per sort of hurts my feelings. I see Sailun tires get a lot of air time. Anyone with experience with this brand?
Thanx,
Jim

Get in touch with Titan Guy on here and he has tire packages for a great price. Don't go cheap on the rubber even if it hurts! A blow out hurts much more.

Sailun is one of the two brands he sells. That's what piqued my curiosity.

I ran the Sailun S637 "16" G Rated tire on my last SOB 5th Wheel for many miles coast to coast.
They were great tires, very heavy, well constructed tires that wore well.
I would have no hesitation purchasing Sailun Trailer Tires again.
Even though they are made in China, I have never heard or read about anybody having issues with them.

REGARDLESS of brand...All it takes is one bad tire and the right conditions...One could be out several thousand dollars in body work...Buy right the first time. Don't take chances. If G tires are good. H tires are awesome.

We had a set until a suspension weld failed and caused 2 tires to rub together and we lost over 1/4" tread on those tires. We replaced them with G614s and they lasted 9K miles, all 4 failed. We replaced them with Hercules tires and they are working great. We had no problems with Sailun tires and would have kept them longer but had to replace the set due to damage resulting from the suspension failure.

My 614s had about 16k miles on them when a spring failure ate them up. I have 2 614s with 150 miles on them. Anyone want to buy them?

My boat hauler likes Sailun tires on his trailer and loves them. The abuse these tires go through is amazing, but they stand up well.

We have the same experience as "Rob_Fla", we ran G rated Sailuns on SOB for 5 years and 35k miles with no problems. I've seen many posts on other manufacturer sites with no complaints about the Sailun tires. Sorry, no experience with the H rated Sailuns.

I had Sailun 637's on our previous SOB and was thoroughly impressed. Will buy them again when I replace the Westalkes on our Redwood. I've not seen a documented failure caused by the tire on a Sailun yet.
