I have the external TST 507 kit, 10 sensors, no booster needed, user changeable batteries & in 5 years of use have changed only 5-6 of the batteries. Also have not had any of the sensors walk away, most people don't know what they are.

I have the TST-507 as well. I have six sensors. I did go back and get the booster. Fixed all my issues. I’m happy with both the product and the support I received.

I have the tyreminder TM66 with 13 sensors. They send me new batteries every year and it has worked well. I got my daughter one for her 5er as well.

My husband hates the internet, so I have no worries about him reading this! Makes it easy to do research. LOL

Is the TM 66 easy to install?

The TM66 doesnt really require install. Kind of like a Garmin, it has a bracket and suction cup. It runs on rechargeable battery that lasts several days, and then when low it has a 12v charge cord just like a cell phone. Screw on the transmitters at each tire valve stem, set up programming and off you go!.

There is a small booster you would need to install for your fiver that needs 12v, easily obtained in your front battery compartment. It can be installed with 3M tape.

I have the TST 507 external sensors installed and I'm happy with them. One note of caution, they can be damaged fairly easily if manhandled by a tire changer, especially if they drop the wheel on the ground and the sensor hits the ground first. I try to get the wheel balanced with the sensor on the wheel but it isn't worth the risk of losing a sensor if the wheel is manhandled during the exercise.

By the way, the sensor that I lost wasn't at our Redwood dealer, it was at a tire dealer! I assume the internal sensors could also be damaged this way as well.
