I'm so sorry to hear that K&D; glad you are okay.
Are those Carlisle H tires?

We changed our 2014 36FL over to Goodyear G614 RST 235-85R/16 tires. Those China Goodyear marathons are junk. I didn't wait for a blow out because I knew it was just a matter of time. I was told if you order your RV to always upgrade the tires in the order. If the dealer orders it for stock you get the cheapest route they can safely take, china goodyear marathons. Just a hint, look on www.simpletire.com will save you a lot of money. Got them shipped to Texas fed-ex in 2 days. $275 per tire. The best I could do local for the same tire was $375 when they added taxes and all. I had discount tire mount and balance but simple tire has a deal going with another national chain to mount them if you want.

I tried that route, but the tire dealerships I talked to would not cover any warranty (including Discount Tire). On the surface, it looked like a pretty good deal. But in the end, maybe not?

I'll be calling Titan Guy shortly to arrange for the H Tire setup. You just can't go wrong this way. Titan Guy offers a fantastic deal to Redwood Owners. I really appreciate that.

I swapped my 17.5's over to the RW on the day I picked it up, that was part of the deal that their people would make that swap for me...

To be honest , I really didn't notice .. I took 1 trip to the Keys the next week , and changed to the SRE4000..

How frustrating and expensive! Until we had problems with our RW blowouts, we had never had tire issues with our RV's. However, this was our first 5th wheel. We were on a cross country trip, and had 3 blowouts within 150 miles of travel. Could not get higher load range tires due to immediate need...had to put more "E's" on. Replaced all of them at the end of the trip with "G" load range...no tire issues since.

My new Tires and Wheels are coming from Titan Guy. Maybe now this constant tire worry will be behind me.

The new tires will give a piece of mind. I know it did for me.

From all the threads the three items that need to be upgraded:
1. Tires
2. Brakes
3. Suspension/Bearings

It's unfortunate the Redwood does not have the foresight to sell the units with these changes in place. Should not be an option. If built correctly, the additional cost would not be that great. Not compared to the trailer damage and their reputation. Their logic escapes me.

Our H rated 17.5" tires with the Equal Flex system actually provides a more stable towing experience for us.

ok since we are talking tires, what is the max running temp on these H rated 17.5in tires?
What is the speed rating on them?
I normally don't travel over 64 mphs but there are times that it creeps to 70 going down hill.
What kind of mileage can I expect out of these tires. Can I wear them out before they age out?
