I was lucky enough to be able to add the Titan Disc brake system to my RW last year and it's unbelievable!!

Now for the question . . . On here and other forums , folks talk about upgrading the stock brake pads to NAPA's best, or equivalent....

With the trailer at MORRyde next week , that would be a perfect time for me to ADD the newer pads..

IS IT WORTH IT ?? The trailer stops like there is no tomorrow , but not fully understanding why folks swap them out ? I am the type that likes to stock at home a spare of a lot or wear items... So I could use the stock pads as spares in a pinch ? ?? Or do I spend the money on beer ?

Joe,

My vote is on the beer option. After enough beer, "What brakes" 😆

However, we are also getting the disk brakes installed at the Rally and will be more than happy with the regular pads. Once they are done it is time to deal with other more critical issues

I would also opt for the beer. I am sure the pads we got from Ron are more than adequate. You could buy new ones for spares

Thanks... I was not looking to change them .
I just read many comments from folks who swapped them and was wondering why?

As I pack bearings yearly and have the calipers off, I change pads yearly.
Not necessary but pads are cheap and I already have it apart.
