My RV Pad works well when in the cradle but looses connection when taken out of cradle.

I had the same issue and had to replace the MyRv control modem and range extender. They are replaced together because the SID numbers on them are synced together. I actually just replaced them yesterday. It took about half an hour and now it works perfectly.

had same problem with new 38rl, called lippert I was told to unplug power to range extender and there is a module in front main compartment where you access the electronics labeled lci about the size of a deck of cards remove the power to that also. then plug them back in that will make them re sink. it worked for me
