Howdy all,

I have a crazy question. The wife and I just upgraded to a Redwood Sequoia 38GKS and absolutely love it. My only question off the top of my head, is the satellite and cable connections outside and the orange coax on the unit. Does anyone have a schematic of what is connected to what? Help please.

Bill

There is a generic cabling drawing in the Resources section of this forum under "Redwood RV Drawings". I think you might have to be a club member to access the Resources section which also has much more useful stuff archived.

Bill,

Welcome to the ROG community. Here is the link to the file that Terry mentioned. It is a generic schematic of how your coach may be wired. I have checked the permissions and this file is still accessible to all free members.

The white coax cables are "jumpers between satellite related splitters; the orange coax cables are satellite and the gray cables are over the air in my 2013 36 RL. The diagram shows the the splitters in the bedroom ceiling (in my RW) however the splitters were behind the living room TV inside the wall accessible via a removable cover. What a mess. I rewired the coax when I installed our Directly satellite dish.

Hope this helps you as we also have a 38GK
1. The orange cables are for the roof mount sat ant. if you get one.
2. The connector in back of the TV wall box the top one is for the over the air antenna/cable connection. DO NOT forget to turn off the green light, hidden to the left of the bedroom TV (mine was a witch to access to turn off)
3. The lower one is for the installing a portable sat receiver and hooking up in the convience center (opposite the cable connector (your guess on which one is which)

I had to re-label mine after I figured them out.
