There have been a lot questions about antenna wiring routes for various models. On the 2014 38GK, I spent last weekend tracking down cable routing, colors, splitters, Amps, etc.

Here is what I have on this 38GK model. Your routing may be varied. I've included photos of each location so that you can know what to expect.

For others that have the 38GK, feel free to add your comments.

There is only 1 WHITE wire I have not been able to find. It is on the roof for the satellite system. One is connected. One is not. I cannot find the other end of this jack.

Concerning splitters, the person that hid the splitters behind light fixtures should be terminated. For 1' (12") more wire, the splitters could have been placed in the cabinet in an easy to find and change-out location. How stupid can this be. Of course, a professional would have run all wires back to the basement area in single strand runs where they could easily be labeled and re-configured as required. QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY (or lack thereof on this issue).

BTW... The wires were traced and marked with a sharpy by me. In the future, that will make it easier to find out where the problems are...

Respectfully,

Interesting, not at all like my 2014 38GK, I have no splitters on my orange coax, they are direct runs. Proves that Redwood was right, diagrams are not rig/model specific, worthless as a matter of fact!
