Probably becoming parttimers, looking to downsize to be able to get into more campgrounds. Where our son is in Tacoma area there aren't ANY nice rv parks, but tons of state parks that we don't fit in with the RW.
We've bought a place in Arizona, anticipating future needs, not getting any younger.

UPDATE!
It's still available, waiting for the right person ready to go fulltime!
Someone said "that's awful expensive", well it's1/2 price of new, all the issues have been taken care of, except for MorRyde IS the suspension tires & brakes have been upgraded. Sounds like a bargain to me!!

Are you listed on:

RVT.com
RV Trader.com
Craigslist.com
rvsfsbo.com
usedrvsbyowner.com
sellernetworks.com/pre-owned-rvs-for-sale-by-owner

There are a few others if you look under
Used RV's for sale by Owner"

You need as much exposure as you can get.

Listed in RvTrader & good Lord willing I'll never list anything on Scamslist(Craigslist) again, I may buy but won't sell. I've listed there 3 times in the last year & within minutes of listing get an immediate scammer. If you ever get an email starting "I'm in the military & out of the country" delete it, that's a scam, had it on all listings.

I feel the pain with Craigslist....When we were downsizing from our sticks and brick, we got a lot of scam calls...It got to where I would not answer a call outside our area code. But with an RV, that would be an issue as you might get a call from anywhere.

One more thought...You might try an RV broker or commission center. I don't know what the fees might be. They are probably expensive.

I watch a lot of RV's for sale. We still bounce around with a lot of different ideas. It seems that most are advertised around 6 months or so (for this size) depending on your asking price.

Best of luck for a quick sale.

Hey Danny,

I know you have not sold just yet, but have you at least had interest?

How many resources are you using?

Got in several different listings.
So far not much interest other than dozens of calls wanting to relieve me of $100 for a "guaranteed sale", which is a scam.

I was kinda wondering about that...With the number of new rigs out there, pretty soon there will be a glut of used RVs. Many of us will ultimately have difficulties selling in the future. The depreciation rates will accelerate I'm afraid...Best to be happy with what we have in many cases I guess.

SOLD! GONE! ADIOS!!
Finally sold the RW & traded the truck, so for now out of the rv lifestyle.
Traded the truck for this;

Not as comfortable sleeping, but MUCH easier to park.

Danny,
Congratulations on your sale. Wow, 15 months. Glad it finally worked out for you. Stay in touch here. Your insight is very helpful to many.

We are in Florida for the winter and I am trying to recover from knee surgery. We may be following your path to a sale in the near future. What turned out to work best for you in terms of advertising?

Guy
