Looks like we need to swap out our NorCold refrigerator for a residential. Looking for ideas on makes and models that are good for the 36 RL - 2014?

We did our swap in 2016 and purchased it from Home Depot. They had our model in stock and it came in black and stainless The model is RF18HFENBBC. Of course if you want it to run boondocking or between runs of campgrounds, you will need to purchase and install an inverter to convert the 12 VDC to 120 VAC. I did that part and had our dealer install and trim out the fridge inside the coach. We couldn't be happier with ours.............finally hard ice cream and firm ice cubes.

TY - is that a Samsung and have you had any problems? We have been looking at the Samsung RF18HFENBSR and it has some crazy bad reviews! Not the one ending in BBC - didn’t find that one on Home Depot? We are aware of the need for the inverter, that will come down the road a little. We seldom dry camp and have a generator, just in case.

We winter in AZ for the past 3 years, so it is in continuous use from October to April. Absolutely no problems with the fridge. We use bagged ice as our ice maker line under the coach developed a leak, and I'm too lazy to try to re-run a new line. Using the bagged ice is not a big deal at all.

We have over three years on our Samsung, same model, and we fulltime...
One of the best changes we made in the coach.
