RW 3401RL with CSW1024 Inverter.
I just purchased two Battle Born 12V 100Ah Lithium Batteries and would like to change out the existing Redwood converter and replace with one that is programed specifically for LiFePO4 batteries. Some other threads on this forum lead me to think the existing converter is an integral part of the power panel which may prove difficult to disable. An external converter was recommended by a tech at Battle Born and is available on Amazon (Progressive Dynamics PD9160ALV 12 Volt 60 Amp Lithium Power Center) but I don't want to buy it unless I am certain to be able to replace or disable the existing converter.
Can anyone clarify this issue for me?
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

On my 38FL the built in converter has a 120v breaker which disables it no problem. You can install anything you want at that point to charge the Battle Born.

I would recommend contacting bestconverter.com no affiliation, just know they are very knowledgeable, don't oversell stuff you don't need, and their prices are good.

You might contact Progressive Dynamics and talk to them. I'm not sure about the newer RWs, but our 2016 has a Progressive Dynamics Power Panel with the built-in 90 amp Converter.
I just contacted them recently to see if there would be any issues with my newly installed AGM Batteries.
