We have a gearbox in our Maxx Air Fan that is failing. I found some on here who have had them send new gearboxes at no charge. I seem to be getting pushback from a customer service rep on email. Anyone else done this recently?

I posted a reply on redwood RV owners. they are $18 or $19 dollars on Etrailer.com . you need to look up your part or take out of the fan . its a short or long drive depending on the model. easy fix. My gear case cracked in half on the case. For me its not worth sitting on hold waiting for some chit head to tell me I caused the problem and something jammed the lid . with the exception of Irvine shade most customer service post warranty sucx.

Rant over , Hope my post was helpfull

I had the gears fail on our fan early on (2013 36RL), dealer replaced under warranty. Last year the wired remote failed (it's now obsolete) so I had the unit replaced with a Fan-tastic unit with wireless remote.
