Looking for ideas on cargo storage. It's a big space, and stuff seems to shift around in transit. Thanks for your help.

I did 2 things. I put down carpet (black 3 ft wide stuff that's used in hallways, got it at Home Depot), I used carpet tape to glue it to the floor. I also used large hooks, screwed them to the front shelves, to hold the water hoses and extension cords.

Load more stuff, if there's room for it to move you don't have enough in there.

I have a Weber Q BBQ that sits on it's collapsed stand, the wheels allowed it move around in the basement. I screwed some Velcro double sided tape to the basement wall so I can hold the BBQ from moving. The tape also holds my ladder to the wall.

We were rushed when we loaded our RW from our Montana, so since then I've unpacked and repacked what seems like a hundred times. But i found a couple of plastic drawer sets and milk crates seem to work well for organizing.

On the curb side I have pretty easy access to the milk crates and drawers.

On the street side I have three milk crates with my sewer components and gloves, vacuum, and blower. I also carry an air compressor and pressure washer. Recliners store on top of the white plastic drawers.

Very well organized Iceman!

Don't mean to get off topic - but a good reminder for those that may have bought a previously owned Redwood with the basement awning switches. You can see from Icemans picture how easy it was for loads to shift and hit the awnings switches on the early Redwoods that had them - with catastrophic results (awning deploys on the highway).

If you have those switches in the basement, there should be some type of cover over them. Redwood's recall included black plastic cover with velcro to attach it to the carpet. You had to reach under to activate the switches.

I went with some Plano Sportsman Storage trunks. They fit perfectly in the MORryde sliding storage tray and stack nicely.

Sorry no pic right now, my RW is in AZ and I'm not.

I use rubber maid containers. They stack tightly and several sizes are available with the same foot print.

My Traeger pellet smoker/grill with its folding legs fits perfectly.

Was at the coach yesterday and took some pictures. I use a 20" x90" MorRyde Slide Tray, a bunch of plastic tubs and a section of 18" Storage Shelves on the back wall. So far it's the best setup I've come up with.
I've attached a few pictures.
