I need to replace my water pump, does the basement wall come out in pieces? It does not look like a big project.

Not sure what model you have
But the back wall is in 2 or 3 pieces with Robertson screws you need to remove. Screws can be a challenge to see with the carpet on the plywood

What Shane said...

The screws are those funky square heads. Don't worry. There are not that many holding it together...The pump is on the floor directly behind the wall.

The 1st time I took the basement walls down I stapled industrial Velcro to the edges & did not reuse the screws, now a good tug the wall is down, it works great & hasn't fell down.
