Got a call fom Tiara RV today telling me i need to get a measurment for the exhaust pipe they will install with my genny. I have never had an onboard genny, and with my bedroom slide, where would it exit the coach? I dont want to be responsible for wrong measurments, it looks like possibly all the way back near the wheels????

Is it safe to ASSUME that the pipe will go straight back from the generator , make a hard 90 degree bend towards the street side, and exit in between both slides??

That's what it did on our 36RL and our 39MB is done the same way

Thank you... They asked for a measurment from the center of the genny box... Does that mean that the exhaust drops down almost dead center of that box? Or will that give them a ballpark ?

man, hard to anticipate what they want. Most of the factory and dealer installs I have seen go from the generator compartment at an angle running back and toward the street side until it gets to the area in between the slides, then it turns straight out. I haven' seen one with the hard right angle.

I would avoid a 90* bend on a very long pipe run. Don't want to risk possibly increasing exhaust backpressure.
