I just bought a 2017 Redwood RW3901MB and it came prewired for a Furrion bluetooth backup camera system. The prewiring is simply a 12 volt line being supplied to the mounting platform for the camera.

I measured and am not get 12VDC at the rear camera connection and am wondering if anyone has run in to this?

I don't see a switch any where to turn on power to the line. I don't see a fuse for this line on the power panel either.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Contact Redwood. There should be a fuse somewhere if it is a dedicated line. There are so many variables to get the 12volt feed to the camera. Mine works with my clearance lights. Some are connected to the backup light when put in reverse. Plug your truck into the trailer and try these two things to see if you get 12volt to the wires

What Shane said...

Also, check the panel fuses and breakers.

It could be that it is pre-wired but not connected. But I would start with Shane's suggestions.

Thanks guys - I sent an email to Redwood and they said the camera is wired to only come on when the truck is hooked up to it and the lights are turned on. I tried this out and sure enough, that's what made it work.
