Mine is pre-wired and has an outlet on the slide and in my paperwork package there is a plug to fit this outlet. There is a switch for this awning by my control panel. I don't know if all of them came this way.

My 2012 36RL came pre-wired with control switches and has the outlet for the slide awning on the outside, upper right hand corner of slide. I do not know if Redwood is still providing that feature. I don't believe there are any changes in structure required to support the extra awning. Redwood may have well decided that they could save a few dollars in manufacturing cost by not pre-wiring for the second awning unless the customer special orders the second awning and they can charge extra for the feature.

Vaughn......We still have to decide. Last year, we were host for our family reunion the same week as the Redwood Rally and were unable to attend. We have attended 3 out of the previous 5 rallies. Since the rally is a week earlier this year, we likely will be attending.
