We got to our new campsite and we greeted with slide seals hanging down. We are able to slide them in most of the way. I think we are OK as long as we don't have rain, wind or dust... right? Not sure we have any options, it is July 4 weekend. The seals are on our list for RW to fix at the Rally. Guess it is more immediate now.

Mine did that also a year or so ago. The screw on the forward end had pulled through the rubber leaving it unsecured, I pulled it back in place & added a washer with some adhesive & it's still holding.

Did they just slide out of the track or tear. If they just slid you could slide them back in and use clear silicon to hold them or put a small screw in the end to hold it
Seems weird it would come out unless the slide was not tight against it while traveling

Is it the inside or outside seal? My bedroom upper slide seal came out and it was the inside seal which squished through the top side of the opening when the slide extended. It bent some of the plastic track when it occurred. I was able to slide the seal back into the trac from the inside by retracting the slide about 12 inches. It happened again at the rally last year and the tech replaced the plastic track as well as the rubber seal. It is necessary to remove the wood fascia on the top of the slide to remove and replace the track that holds the seal.

It was the outside seal. The seal was originally tacked down with a screw, it pulled off the screw.

I agree, about the slide potentially not being completely in. We check it before pulling out each time, doesn't mean we wouldn't have missed something.

It is torn and then slid out. We slid it back in, but this won't be permanent. We only have one more stop before Indiana.

Unortunately that probably slapped the paint and marred it as you traveled like ours did.

The screw only holds it in place long enough to get the seal caulked. The only clear caulking I found to hold was the CLEAR GEOCEL MHRV 2300. I tried many before that.
