The 2013 36FL that we purchased new had stand alone dinning room table and chairs that where designed to be held in place while traveling by a L-shaped hooked that slid into a U shaped bracket on the wall under the window. The chairs were propped under the stowed table and were to be held in place by the weight of the table and the table connection to the wall. Did not work. the table danced all over the kitchen while traveling. Our dealer said there was no fix that either he nor Redwood suggested. So we have been turning the table upside down on the floor on a rubberize shelving material and roping the chairs to the table. Results better but not ideal. Has anyone found a better solution? We don't want to screw the table to the floor as that would puncture the floor membrane.

Hi, We have a 2012 FL and we just leave the chairs against the back wall and keep the leaves up on the table, some time the chairs will move, but only a little. you could lie them down on top of the living room chairs, that also will work. Enjoy your coach.

We have the same coach. I turned the chairs around (back to the table) then used a simple strap and tied them to the table pedestal. They ride great.

We have a 2014 36FL with the table and chairs. We actually installed a bench seat / Dog house on the exterior wall so I now use two bungee cords to hold in place. My first thought with no added bench seat would be to install a few small eye hooks on the exterior wall but make sure you hit the wall stud. After that ratchet strap or bungee should do the job.
The factory hold down on our table was broke when it arrived.

Hey Steve and Char...How did you fastened the dog bench to the wall? I assume you tie the table to the bench. I need to do something as on the way home my table pulled away from the wall pulling off the trim. This is the first we have ever had any trouble so now we need to do something.

On the inside I added support to the bench and anchored the bench directly into the wall stud. Then a bungee was used to hook furniture to the front.

Has anyone looked at the Morryde Chair Buddy?

This maybe useful.

Steve,
Thanks for the update. I think I will see if I can find some kind of bench like that as I need to anchor the table since everything got pulled out of the wall on the way home. The morryde chair buddy looks cool and might be able to add that to the table once it is secured.
Where did you find the bench?

I built it since you most likely won't find anything to fit that you could purchase. The chair buddy looks cool but like you said, first you have to anchor the table.
I can easily build anything you need but shipping would cost to much so if your on the way by my state you could pick up or if your willing to wait until next years rally, I can deliver.
If you decide to anchor the table to the floor just for your info it WILL NOT hurt the flooring except for the holes if you screw right through it. BUT... you would want to leave it in the same position as you do not want to remove the screws often since that will cause damage over time.

OK. Thanks We will look to see what we can find. I think I will go in the wall as I don't want to go in the floor. We thought we would see if we can buy a boxof flooring just in case we needed to replace a piece or two down the road before they discontinue them.
