Finally just about finished with the coffee bar and center island project. Just a couple doors on the LR side to finish and stair runner. Took some time but came out better then we expected.
On to the next project!!!
Steve
What a fantastic job Steve !! I really wish that I had the tools and talent to do stuff like that... WHat a great modification . .
You make my jaw drop to the floor with your workmanship! Maybe Redwood should hire you to build prototypes for their new models. :cheer:

That is at so many levels, AWESOME!
We have the whole buffet issue to deal with but am working towards following in your trail blazing foot steps.
About that power plug you included in your island, where did you get the power? Did you just junction off an existing drop or pull it all the way back to the panel and add a breaker?
Really great job!

Ken,
I dropped the belly and ran a new wire from the panel. I also added another central vac port to the side just to the right of the panel so now much easier to reach the bedroom with the stock hose.
Steve
Excellent job as usual Stevo
Beautiful! We have a 31SL so that wouldn't work for us. Will just continue using the awesome pullouts in the pantry with outlets to make our coffee.
Just finished the LR side and decided to go with Cherry to break up the black. Next project is to build new bathroom and bedroom doors and jambs with Cherry and get rid of the fake wood. Might be a little while as we are now getting back on the road for the warm weather months.

I really am not trying to be a kill joy, you rock on what you are doing, but are you tracking any weight gain on your mods?
Also, do you have living area TV in the build?

Ken,
Yes tracking the weight. After removal of all the stuff tossed out the door and then all the new added I have upped my weight by about 550 lbs. but I do not have a generator and only put in about 20 gallons of water so not to bad so far but will get weighed at the Rally again this year.
No TV on LR side. Will be a pull out for desk and storage for business files ect. Same height as island so just grab a chair from there and bring it up to the desk.
Steve
Another one for you Ken if you have or get a little pup.
Finished the stair runner and dog gate last weekend. We don't always want our dogs in the LR and I hated having to move a gate and put it away so I came up with this.
Steve
No pups here but like how you tied it in with all the other work you've done.
Can't wait to see your rig in person at the rally.
