Same with our 31SL after adding two rolls of insulation. And in the cold weather we don't get the cold draft coming from our front closet. Now how to do the rear cap???

Rob............ I am going to pull out the shoe boxes on my 2012 36RL this summer to see what it looks like in there. Our front closet has always been hot also.

Maybe Redwood will have a recall of all of their coaches to repair their shoddy workmanship! :silly: What's the chance of that happening.......nill.

I'll look it over but right now I don't have any plans on getting into the rear cap only because I figure the window is more then half of the cap so I don't think I would gain much. Now if I have to cut it apart to get the stairs in to the roof top deck I'll let you know what I find. :woohoo:

I wish it was easier for me to remove the wall of my front cap so I can look.

Another thing to ask the tech at the rally.

I have been coming home after work the last few days, Temps have been in the upper 80s / Low 90s with direct sun on the front cap in the afternoon, only the middle A/C unit (over the mid kitchen area) is running maintaining the coach temperature. (I keep my thermostats set on 74 degrees during the day)

The Rear A/C (over the rear Bedroom area) with its Thermostat in my FL coach mounted on the Kitchen Pantry Wall and my Middle A/C (over the Mid Kitchen area) has its Thermostat mounted half way up the stairs to the Front Living area)
Due to the Thermostat locations my Thermostat on the pantry wall typically reads about 1 to 2 degrees lower than the Thermostat mounted half way up the stairs to the Front Living area.

Between all my A/C mods / improvements to the A/C return and supply ducts, sealing of most of the leaks and now the added insulation up front, lets hope I have a good summer !!!

Not sure it is related, but I am in the RW now. It is 84 degrees out and I am in 1/2 sun - 1/2 shade.. This is the first time i have used it since I reworked my insulation, I have only 1 AC running set at 70 . . It's 72 down, and 70 up... actually cooler in the bedroom.. I'll take it ! I know it's not a true test, but it looks promising.

Ken, great request. Let us know if you hear if RW is open to taking care of this front cap issue at the Shipshewana rally.
