I've been trying to replace some of the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs. Some of the glass covers spin right off, but I have a few that barely move, and don't spin off. Is there a trick for the stubborn ones? Thanks in advance.

Several of mine I had to use one of the rubber jar opener doodads to get a better grip then they came off. Had a couple that pulled the screws loose, barely into any wood.

Some of the old Halogen style lights had 'Mouse trap' style springs that held them in the ceiling and are not screwed in. With that style you could pull down carefully and hopefully not have the spring wire smash your fingers and pull the light down some to work on them. That way you could hold the base and use a large pair of slip joint pliers and a rag to remove glass lens without breaking the glass.
