We are moving to the beach and are considering replacing all of the carpet with linoleum.
1. Has anyone done this?
2. If so, do you like it better or not?
3. Any issues especially on the slide out parts?
We have cats and with the sand, we think this wil be a better solution and will use throw rugs where needed.
Thanks,
Kim
We had our unit delivered from the factory with all vinyl flooring. We much prefer it. Were the first Redwood delivered with it, as we said we wouldn't buy it if it came with carpeting.

We replaced our carpet with vinyl Wood planking. Would not go back
Our 2016 39mb came from the factory with all tiled flooring as requested I it makes things easer when it comes time to clean the floor carpet is a pain. I think installing tile might be easer to install than linoleum.

Actually I'll double check but none of our slides touch the inside flooring. All the weight bearing rollers are on the outside of the slides and don't come anywhere near the inside flooring.
Like I said though I'll double check next time I close things up and report but I really don't think they touch our inside flooring.

We get dirty streaks on the carpet after the slides have been in. So irritating. We like carpet, but it has been a challenge to keep it clean.
Go online to Lippert and I'm sure other places have them. Called carpet stickers. They are a 4" x12" plastic strip with little teeth on one side that holds it to the carpet. Put them down when pulling in the slides and it let's the roller run on the plastic instead of getting the carpet dirty
Shane, I think you are referring to "LIPPERT Slide-Out Slicker, Carpet Saver #134993"
I also suggested over a year ago that maybe an inexpensive office carpet chair mat with the nubs on the underside might be cut to a desirable width and used also. I don't see why it wouldn't work the same way.

You are correct again
