Sliding pocket door

The pocket door going into the bedroom has the screws coming out of the sliding bracket that attaches to the slide rail. Looks like I need to take the door off the track to tighten the screws in the bracket attached to door. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get the bracket off. Anyone have idea? Brand new three weeks old and feel like it's falling apart.

Slide the small c-clip that is attached to the door side away from the bolt with a small screwdriver on both brackets. You may have to pick up on the door a little. Once clip is open, just push the bolt either to the right or left and door will slide off the upper bolt. The threaded bolt is also your adjustment for height or to plumb it up the door jamb.

...and don't be discouraged. Remember that these things go through a 7.5 earthquake every time they roll down the road, including the trip from the factory to the dealer. Owning any RV will improve your handyman skills 🙂

Thank you Paul,

We have been on the road for a year. We started out with a 33 ft. LaCross Travel Trailer, and just upgraded. We had a few issues in the beginning with that one also. Luckily I have to ability to learn those handyman skills.

So far, 3 door slider Bathroom door fell out and shattered on first trip off the lot.
Walk in Closet door scratched, Faucet scratched.
Exhaust fan failed.
Wine Bar Wine cooler stopped working can't pull out to find out why. Power going to but can't pull out to see if plug may have come out of back.
Door fell off brackets.
handle to Black tank Broke off.

I think that's it for now. Figure as much as we paid, things would hold up a little better. 3 weeks old.

Well.....

I am camping right now close to a NEW Elite Suites owner that is not happy at all...He has had it 3 months and he is thinking of getting out of it all together, and going to another brand.

It goes to show, anything can happen at any price point. . .

If you are able to come to the Rally in Indiana in July, it is a great time to get good information from other owners and also take advantage of Redwood Service Center working on your rig. Service Center has consistently done a great job for everyone.

Keep a detailed list.
