I'm wondering how to access the BAL Accuslide for the bedroom slide in our 3401? The motor assembly seems to be on the bottom, not on top like other manufacturers. Slide is making clicking noise and "jerking" as it goes in and out. A large bang when it is fully in or out. Not a major issue until we have to leave to head north in April but I want to see if I can fix it myself. I'm assuming that one of the cables is out of alignment or the tension adjustment needs work. Might even be the gear assembly in the motor?
I've been asking for assistance on the ROG Facebook Page and not a lot of experience or help so far with BAL slides, but I did find this thread on the Montana Owners Group. Maybe it will help:

Talisker, I responded to your question shortly after you posted on the other RW Site, which is much more active than here.
Be careful, while both RW and Montana High Country use BAL Accu-slide, the mounting of the motor is entirely different. The Montana have the motor mounted on the top of the wall, while RW have it mounted under the bed.
BAL had an issue in the 2015/16 time frame of bad gear boxes. I got that info directly from a NORCO (Parent of BAL) several years ago at the RW Rally when we were having an issue with our BR slide.

Paul,
Sounds like your gear box is going. Your right, the motor and gear box are under the bed, not on top the slide. I replaced my gear box in November. I took the bed apart and stood it up to gain access to the gear and motor assembly. As it turns out the cables were too tight. Once i replaced i had a technician re-adjust the cables. Works great now.
