We are planning a trip to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway in a couple of weeks and were wondering if anyone has done that trip. If so, how many miles were you really able to do in a day?
Thank you for your input!
Cheryl
I hope you're not talking about dragging the RW??
My understanding is that many section are not suitable for towing. I know many years ago we traveled it in a 1977 Camaro and I was concerned about knocking out the head lights with the rear bumper on some of the sharp turns LOL.
I'm sure it's been improved since then, but I have read that there are sections where towing is not allowed.

We just finished the entire Blue Ridge Parkway. The only place we weren't able to bring the Redwood (aka, Big Red) was the southern end.....it's not because of hairpin turns or steep grades......it's because of the tunnel height.....too low. It was actually a pretty darn nice drive....oh, and the hiking is spectacular!
