They are just not able to do that in the iNCommand nor the sensors themselves unless you add more probes but no display for that ... a great system that uses a sonar like capability is called SeeLevel II it comes with its own display and it measures in 0-100% in single increments.  Not cheap but easy to install if you don't mind getting into the underbelly.  We don't even really look at the sensors much anymore ... you can just hear the sounds of full or not when you flush and find that we tend to dump black about every 4-5 days and grey about every 2-3 days.  We put on the electric Bakker Industries motors on our valves so now no more pulling or pushing cables.

We've had the unit for a little over two weeks and have dumped three times. The Black sensor never gets below 33%, Grey 1 will show 0% after dumping and Grey 2 will show 66% after dumping. When dumping Grey 2, very little fluid comes out of the tank, Grey 1 and Black have drainage but not any thing compared to the coach we had foor many years. I've called Redwood since the unit is new but do not get any callbacks and no answers. Not very encouraging.

How difficult was the installation of the Bakker units? I expect you still have cables and levers incase of power outages or Bakker failures. Besides dropping the cloroplast, any suggestions?

I did get ahold of Redwood service (which is really Keystone service) and, since we don't tow the unit, authorized a service call. We have a tech coming tomorrow morning to look into the situation.

After my above post, the shower started backing up. I did try dumping again and was able to dump grey 1 and get a zero on the sensor. I was still unable to get any flow from grey 2 and suspect the valve is no longer connected to the handle. I'll let you know after the service call.

I'd sure be interested in what they find.  I haven't backed up but no flow when I dumped the 2nd grey tank.

The service tech verified that both grey tanks are empty even though grey 2 shows 67%. They found that the angle of flow is not very much and that there is a seven foot straight piece of pipe before it joins the other drains and the final connection point. when you pull the valve the tank dischaarges into the seven foot 3" pipe and looses momentum before it reaches the connector to your drain hose. This makes it look like there isn't much water flowing through drain. There is an iissue with the sensors. We tested the Firefly G12 board and it performed as expected. They said the sensor or wiring was the problem. That's it.

Hey Matt (and others),  We have a 2021 3401RL and I received a schematic from the factory folks for tank drain plumbing, attached.  Ours was a covid build so its not exactly plumbed like the schematic.  Long story...  The valves from the gray tanks are BURIED.  Very hard to access them.  Haven't figured out best option to get to them?  I've stuck my remote camera up into that area to get a look see.  They are below kitchen floor, under cabinet that spans left/right/buffet.  Black and fresh tanks are below basement floor.  Scott

All,  I've tried to draw the side view, profile for where I think the various components are.

Here is another picture of the profile with a hole cut in main floor to access the black tank vent connection.  Al support tubing, much wiring, and criss-crossed with black tank, bathroom sink, washer/dryer drain plumbing (in my covid build - not built to schematic).

I am sorry I have been unavailable for a while with some family issues but I am playing catch up ... please tell me again what the problem is and where we are at now.  Why are we cutting holes in the floor and what did the mobile tech find.  It basically sounds like the tanks are all draining just fine but the sensors still show a reading ... is this where we are?

All I've done is add a few pictures and drawings in case anyone with a 3401RL has an issue with their grey tank valves...  I've tried to document where they are but do not have a good option to access them, other than dropping the black tank to get access...  Just showing what I've found in my unit...  Scott

Where in Texas can I take my Redwood and have this issue put to bed?  I can not find a way to get to the valve in question. I've dropped the underbelly and that didn't provide accessibility. The gauges have never functioned properly and can't be depended on as a solution.

@matts

I'm in MN.  Not sure who to goto in TX.

Here's the other option to get into grey tank valve area on the 2021 3401RL.

Side note:  My tank sensors worked good for about a year.  3 years on and we've tried many different blends of "cleaners" to get them back to working properly.  No single one seems to get them back.  When tanks are empty and dry out for 3-4 weeks, they read empty.  Soon as we start putting water in them, the sidewalls seem to have this capillary action where a little bit of water triggers the next one up, so a couple gallons will show 2/3 full in grey tanks.

Black tank is awful this way, ~10 gallons will show full, after sitting for 3-4 weeks of drying out and showing empty...  We just get used to gauging how much water we use in each.  Not a perfect method but when we think we're getting close we go dump.  We typically are moving every 2 weeks when on the road (FL) so this method works for us...

Here's a pic of what it looks like behind my basement wall...

Shows the 14"-16" tall OSB wall to get acess to grey tank valve area...

For the sensor operation, we've had good luck with either of two products ... Commando Pods at Walmart and/or the Camco TST Probe Sensor Cleaner from Amazon or Camping World.  You put either in the tank and fill with water then let set overnight or 24 hrs then flush.  We also have Kleentank.com come out once or twice a year and this really makes them work too!!
