We have owned, fulltimed and traveled the USA in our Redwood 38FL for over 10 years since we bought it new in 2014.
We have made many friends in the ROG, enjoyed the Rally’s and the support of Redwood going above and beyond taking care of our Coach and taking care of us.
We have towed our Redwood well over 70,000 miles on the rough roads of this wonderful country but the years and miles have taken its toll on our coach so we decided to start looking for a update / new coach.
We recently found a replacement coach for our beloved Redwood, unfortunately it is not a Redwood so with much regret we are leaving the Redwood Family.
We will miss the good times, good friends and our Redwood for sure.
Hope our new 5th Wheel is as good of a coach as our Redwood has been all these years.

We traded our Redwood in on a pre-owned 2022 39GBB VanLeigh Beacon 5th Wheel that is in excellent condition inside and out. (VanLeigh RV a Division of Tiffin Coach)
I found the previous owners info / purchase contract in the Beacon Owners Manual Bag, so I contacted him to see why he traded it and if he had any issues with the unit I should be aware of before we purchased it. He told me he did not have any issues with it, he kept it in a Heated Barn when not using it and only used it for local camping trips. He said he traded it in because he wanted to take his Golf Cart with him so he traded for a Toy Hauler.
Since VanLeigh RV is now closed after Thor Industries bought Tiffin Coach (VanLeigh RV was not part of the purchase) the prices on VanLeigh 5th Wheels have dropped quite a bit and we were able to purchase our new to us VanLeigh Beacon for quite a bit less that 1/2 of the sales price just 2 years ago.
The VanLeigh Beacon appears to be a well built 5th Wheel and the one we found has quite a few Factory Options on it including 8K Axles with Disc Brakes, Spendide Washer / Dryer, Slide Awning Package, 3rd A/C Unit, Hardwood Refrigerator Doors, 32" Outdoor TV, Surge Guard, Solar Prep and 2" Receiver Hitch.
Since we purchased our Cabin in the Georgia Mountains, we are no longer Fulltimers, we now do local area camping trips and extended trips from time to time.
Hope we will be as happy with our new to us Beacon 5th Wheel as we were with our Redwood 5th Wheel.
