I don't even know what it's called..........I've lost the plastic insert that covers the mounting screw securing the overhang covering on either side of the pin box. I'm struggling with even knowing how to describe it. One came our coming down to AZ in October, and the one on the other side will come out soon. They look like they have shrunk over time (close to 7 years). I'll include a couple of photos and hope someone on here has already done this. I've tried for a couple of hours now and just can't figure out how to do it.
I think this is what you need...

Finding the replacement trim isn't the problem................trying to figure out the proper installation is my problem. I did it on the driver side last year down here, was ok going back to Oregon, but it came out on our way back down last fall. A poster on the other forum suggested caulking in a few places. I just hoped someone had done this and could relate how to keep these staying in place.
Jim, I replied on the other RW forum to you regarding this. Yes I had to use some seal to hold my painted inserts in the correct placement to have the paint lines match up. Some trim insert pieces are placed over the end of the trim itself and folded under when the trim is screwed down, then the insert is worked into the groove. Others have a small metal trim cap or end that is screwed over the top to allow the screw to pass through insert piece and the metal trim to anchor both in place. Insert will keep falling out if not secured.
