Wanted to say thanks for this forum. It is nice to have the feedback from other owners. My question seem like most curious issues.
Upon my walk through I found ( small issue ) the one heat ducted to bedroom had fallen off ( tape was used) the floor opening. I would assume this is a standard and a easy fix. Anyone else find this issue. Also was wondering after looking at the venting of heat ducts does the master bath area having any issue with freezing or cold floors.
I take deliver on this unit in a few days and was also wondering does anyone use the RF Direct TV remote to control the outside TV from the receiver mounted in the bedroom? Is there access to run a HDMI cable from the bedroom TV receiver to the outside TV?
If anyone has any look out for this post please follow up... Thanks again
Unfortunately that furnace duct has had that same issue since RW#1, easy fix.

I had the same problem with my bedroom duct coming down. I put it back up with some tie wraps to take the wight of the duct and then sealed it really well with aluminum duct tape. For the outside Tv I located the cable going to the outside and tied it in to the bedroom reciever. You can only watch what the channel the bedroom one is on though. This works for us as the DW can watch TV in the living room and I can be outside watching a different channel. There is room for another reciever outside if you want 3 d I fferent channels at the same time.to run HDMI out to it you would need to come out of the bedroom down and under the coach and back up into the outside one
Scott, We are full timers took delivery in July of RW. Had my Alfa gold for 14 year. I have the 39MB and have not had any issues with the bath room floor getting cold. the heat vent is under the base of the sinks. an no freezing issues. I do wrap the outside water hose with insolation and then wrap it with duct tap have not had it freeze in 15 yrs. Good luck with your RW. cognates welcome to the forum.
One thing to be careful of if the bedroom heat duct comes off is to ensure is not laying on or near the converter with the furnace. running. I had this happen in our 34SK and it fired the converter due to overheating.
when the duct was put back in place a generous amount of aluminized tape was used to ensure it would hold in the future. It was clear that the factory had skimped on the amount of tape applies during the build.
We have no need to worry in our current location as the furnace does not need to run in Key West. :silly:
Glen Thank you for your reply Can you let me know of any RV Lots for SALE or Deeded Lots that can be purchase for RV USE. My goal is to be in Key West.
Thanks for your reply back on the heat duct.
Scott
Scott,
You're welcome.
I am not aware of any RV or deeded lots available. Being retired Army, we spend most snow bird seasons at the Navy Air Station Key West Campground.
Glen,
Understand and was thinking of the networking available here..... Sharing a name
Al Murdock is a neighbor / good friend of ours will be staying at that Navy Air Key West Campground.
Al and Leni they travel in a New Horizon triple axle unit. They will be down there next month at that location.
Safe travels and enjoy the great weather....(jealous)

We use RF remotes for all of our TVs. We have a slimline satellite with SWM8 technology that supports our Directv Genie boxes that we use both at our home and in our Redwood coach. Works great. Only drawback is while using the boxes from our home is you cannot receive local channels while on the road (unless you use the antenna). We normally do not stay in one spot very long so transferring our Directv location is not an option. However, if you stay at a location for a while 3 months or so, transferring your Directv location to your new site is doable. We have a 2012 36FL and had a satellite coax drop placed in our storage compartment so we can watch TV outside. I no longer need this setup as the genie allows reception outside without cable connection, all I need is an extension cord for power!! Have a Happy New Year
