Purchased 2015 RW 36RL in like-new condition from first owner in June. Waiting for new GMC 3500 SRW Denali to arrive in order to pick up trailer graciously stored by previous owner. My wife, Daena, and I are excited about RVing in this beautiful Redwood. Did plenty of research prior to purchase and can understand why y'all are so proud and pleased with your Redwoods. Redwood is the best, even with its share of weaknesses, as is common with all RV's. If the Redwood factory studies this ROG forum half as much as I have, they will be very well prepared to make the changes required to take RW quality to an even higher level. This forum is an awesome resource of information about everything Redwood and I look forward to learning much about our Redwood from y'all. Gary & Daena Bender from Lubbock, Texas.
Congratulations on your new to you Redwood. And welcome to the Forum. Hope you will enjoy your Redwood as much as we do ours!!

Congratulations and WELCOME Gary & Daena !! Let the journey start.
Most any info you may need will be found here on the ROG so just ask.

Congrats on your new rig We have the same year and model and though I have had some issues redwood took care of themy. Enjoy
Congrats on the RW, but think you may regret the SRW GMC. While it's plenty of power the RLs are nose heavy. Ours ran approx 4K on the pin and several others who bought an RL around the same time ended up trading in almost new SRW TVs for Duallies. Best of luck.
Welcome Gary and Daena , we have the 38RL and love every inch of it .. Like others , I have had some minor issues , but nothing that I jut didn't fix myself.. Also, like others Redwood has a few weak links that need to be thought about .. - suspension , shackles , springs , tires...Just remember that NOT ALL Redwoods have the same problems, so it's up to you to find and correct them..
I have believed that being proactive will help me avoid some major issues , so I made a few of the upgrades before issues happened. . .
As far as the SRW . . If your fulltiming , you may regret it.. But if your the casual weekend warrior ( like me) CHECK YOUR WEIGHTS before you get comfortable . . .
Either way , welcome , and congratulations on your new Redwood ! !

Gary & Daena,
Congratulations on purchasing your RW. I note it is a 2015, so if it is still within the initial 2 years, it may be eligible for the warranty transfer.
Congratulations on the new RW & welcome from a former Tx panhandle couple.

Congratulations on your RW and trust you will enjoy yours as much as we have with our 2013 36RL.
A young family stopped by our site at a state Park last week and asked to "tour" our RW. As you noted they were very impressed with the Redwood exterior and interior as compared to several other luxury/residential brands. Earlier this week they found a used 2015 39MB and purchased it along with a tow vehicle.
At one point two weeks ago there were three Redwoods all within sight of each other in the same state park.
The members on this site are very helpful in sharing their knowledge and tips. Happy Redwood RV'ing.
Congrats on your RW purchase. We've been full-timing in ours for over three years...love the RW and the lifestyle! This forum is a great source for RW owners...new and seasoned alike!
