Santa came early to our Redwood, probably due to those dreaded words, "Some assembly required"

He brought new aluminium stairs, centrepoint and disk brakes, even installed everything personally 😆 😆 😆

I asked Santa to bring drag chains this year just in case we have trouble crossing the Siskyou mountains going south next week. Snowing hard today so we may need chains just to get out of the driveway and down the front hill onto the highway! :woohoo:

Don't feel too bad, we are getting the same weather up the road. Currently snowing almost golf ball size flakes. We didn't even get rid of the last dump before this started.

Wish we were heading south now rather than in 3 weeks.

At what point do you decide to just sit and wait? Do you head out on snow pack roads? We leave Colorado 1st week in February, I'm feeling nervous. Last time we made this trip, I carefully checked the weather for the route and we still had awful weather. The most scared I've ever been. We were traveling on the Interstate and could not find a place to pullover and stay.

I would never think of departing with a trailer if there was snow on the road surface or if snow was predicted! One year we were surprised with heavy snow in the Siskyou mountains of Northern California which was not forecasted or expected. There was a high "pucker" factor! I tried to avoid the brakes not knowing what to expect. The purpose of carrying chains is in case of emergency so we don't get caught again.

Mine won't come until January 3rd. Having solar panels mounted on the roof.

Didn't ask, but Santa brought me a wireless backup camera. Now I have to figure out how to mount it

We asked Santa for everything to be fixed so that we can move on in our trip. Serious suspension problems that we hope can be fixed.
🙁
