Hello everone,
I recently purchased this unit and I am hard at work making it just like new.

The bigger items on the list include:
- New granite in kitchen and bath
-New cooktop and convection microwave
-New water fixtures throughout
-New LVP flooring in kitchen and bath
-New carpet throughout

I am in the construction industry so all this is second nature but I don't have any experience working on a coach.

If anyone had any tips, tricks or advise then I'm all ears.

Thanks!!!!

I think you'll find that when building rvs they don't do anything the way you would, small spaces, cheap fixtures, & hurried assembly, did I mention hurried assembly.
Was the RW in that bad of shape or just upgrading to better quality?
Might want to check the rolling chassis while your at it, the wheel bearings/brakes, replace plastic bushings in springs, if it still has E rated tires just to name a few before hitting the highway.
Congratulations on the new to you RW & look forward to seeing pictures of the remodel.

RW and DRV probably offfer the best quality of construction but you're right it isn't the quality we are used to.

The unit was not in bad shape at all. I may just be OCD about the way I like things to be not to mention I plan on living in this thing all winter.

Currently the chassis is being painted with a catalyzed urethane frame paint to keep the rust away. After that we will pull wheels and inspect brakes and bearings and seals.

The tires are in new condition and are date coded 2015.

Sounds good, we've lived in ours for last 4 1/2 years with only minor issues, hope you are as fortunate.
As for the tires, if they are E rated they are NOT enough tire for your coach, Gs minimum & Hs would be better. I had 40-60k on my Gs, without any problems, before upgrading to Hs. When & if you need tires contact Ron aka Titan Guy on the forum, he has great deals.

Steve & Todd - looking forward to seeing both your coaches at a rally one day. Todd welcome to the ROG, you will find lots of help from other knowledgeable owners.
